Get ready to see supernatural breakthroughs in 'lost' relationships. Where there was hurt there will be healing. And where there was misunderstanding there will be understanding. Where there was no forgiveness there will be compassion and forgiveness.
God is going to abundantly bless those who have had broken relationships in their families. He is going to pour healing in the hearts and souls of those affected. Children and parents will be reunited - grandparents and grandchildren - brothers and sisters etc...
I felt God also say that there will be a new strengthening in married life - that there will be deep healing and restoration between husbands and wives - and partners.
God has put family at the center of everything! Those who have been overworked and lost sight of priorities will suddenly find more time to be with family.
God is challenging the word 'busy'! He doesn't want us to be too 'busy' for family - God is never too 'busy' for us. His priority is spending time with us!
The enemy's voice has been too loud for too long - he has robbed the joy from family life - children have been overlooked and parents have suffered. This is not good enough - there will be an outpouring of restoration. Blessings will flow where there were once curses - this means the breaking and healing of generational family issues - i see a huge favour in this area. That the 'suddenly' will happen. Anger will go, stress will go, financial burdens in families will go, anxiety in parenting will go and the fear of failure will go.
There will be an increase in trusting the Lord with our children and our partners. There will be a fresh outpouring of love and of life within families.
I felt God then say that in 2020 we will see an increase in adoption and fostering - records will be set for the number that are placed in families! "God sets the lonely in families"
I see church families being restored also - where there has been years of backstabbing and misunderstandings - God will bring peace. He is re-calling his Church to be beacons of hope for family life. I see resources / provision increasing for family support from churches - family workers and parental programs and support.
There has been a long time where many churches have been critical to the way people parent rather than being unconditional support. Many families and children / young people have been deeply hurt by judgement from within the church. God has been grieved by this and is turning this around! Resources and provision are just a part of how this will happen. So churches expect to receive grants and legacy's to employ family workers. Expect an increase in connection with families.
I also felt God really challenge those in leadership who have children or workers in their teams - to prioritise family life and the prayer of family life.
I felt that there were many adults who have carried a deep hurt for many years due to being children of church leaders or where their parents worked many hours and didn't see them a great deal. I see a shift in this hurt and again a restoration in these relationships.
Romans 8: 15 You did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
